Last night we played a while at the office a good many rounds of Halo 2. We were hoping for more people, but the six we had was a good number to readjust to the new game. I bought a new, Logitech wireless controller for the festivities. It worked out very well all evening with… Continue reading Halo 2: First Look (Personally)

Paradoxical Relevation
I’m thinking that every voter out there knows of one unique person that is voting for someone else in the presidential election. With that logic, all of our votes are just cancelling out. Shouldn’t elections always be 50/50? By the way, I took a great picture of maggots the other day that I think you’ll… Continue reading Paradoxical Relevation
Voting Day
It’s voting day at Eastern Standard Time in the United States. My friend, Brandon S., did some last minute campaigning yesterday evening over the phone. He’s certainly more into the political scene than I am, though that’s not saying terribly much. He did give me some additional useful information to help me pick a position… Continue reading Voting Day
Work @ 7:00am
It turns out I like being at work earlier than everyone else. For one, it’s quiet – somber even. For another, it’s still dark outside. I much prefer getting started in the morning in the dark. It’s easier on the eyes, It’s not chilly this morning as I had hoped, but not too warm either.… Continue reading Work @ 7:00am
webdev|Live!
So I’m working on a new project called, “webdev|Live!” The idea is that a group of web developers get together and blog the unfolding saga of web design. The process, when followed to completion, should render a sort of instant whitepaper. I’m hoping it pans out, but for now it’s just useful in allowing Sean… Continue reading webdev|Live!
Ex-Con’s Seen in Bar
Today, there are at least four people that wish they had stayed in bed this morning. Three of them probably wished they were dead too. 5:00am came earlier than normal this morning when my alarm (cell phone) jolted me out of my comfortability. Last night, I joined three friends at Wild Wing Cafe in Suwanee… Continue reading Ex-Con’s Seen in Bar
Racquetball Physics
I had an argument going with the edge of my racquet (notably dumber than me). My stance was that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The racquet stood firm that it could hit me regardless of theoretical physics. My logic failed when I didn’t think to consider the variable, a ball. If, in… Continue reading Racquetball Physics
Most Excellent!
I had a really great time with everyone that showed up to drum tonight. Although the coldest night we’ve been outside this year, it was probably the most energetic. Matt and I didn’t even realize how cold it was until it was all over and we were standing up. The knees get a little stiff… Continue reading Most Excellent!
Drumming Tonight
If you’re in the neighborhood, I’ll be drumming on the square in Gainesville again around 8:00pm. It should be a good time, even it is a little cold. No rain in the forecast, so that’s good. As always, we’ll have some extra seats and drums if you don’t one to bring.
Lunch: Recipes for Disaster
Also curtesy Ingle’s, lunch is a delicious (if large) collection of bargains. I downed a ham and cheese sandwhich and a dozen deviled eggs (6 whole eggs). For dessert, I’ll be packing down a half-pound puddle of pudding – bannana. There are also still four doughnuts from this morning that I need to take care… Continue reading Lunch: Recipes for Disaster
