It turns out I like being at work earlier than everyone else. For one, it’s quiet – somber even. For another, it’s still dark outside. I much prefer getting started in the morning in the dark. It’s easier on the eyes, It’s not chilly this morning as I had hoped, but not too warm either. I think it’s probably about 73°F. This dark thing will be gone with winter so I hope to enjoy every minute of it while it’s here. There was a total lunar eclipse (the likes of we won’t see again until 2007) last night. This morning, moonlight flooded into my room like someone’s 2 million candle-watt halogen beam. The sky was completely void of clouds, so the moon got its full shine on.
