A certain friend of mine has recently become engaged and I see no mention of the event on his own blog. As such, I hereby request his Geek Card until such wrong-doing can be redeemed. You know who you are. (To prove you are worthy of your Geek Card, you must create a post and… Continue reading There’s Someone for Everyone

Kibbles Wrap-Up
It was also after a rather unpleasant experience in the bathroom involving things like pine cones, sharp rocks, or possibly a complete toy train with working steam engine that I decided I should stop while I’m…er…still *going* as it were.
Childhood Memories Crushed
A friend of mine at work asked me the other day if I had played with G.I. Joe toys when I was a kid. I had, of course, and quite fondly remembered them. Unlike many small boys, I did not indulge in morbid acts of violence against said heroes. No, I had a respect for… Continue reading Childhood Memories Crushed
How I Work
The longest amount of time spent, and time I am unable to account for, is research. Depending on the topic, I may spend a week pouring through as many references I can find on a particular subject to get a real good feel for the information. If I don’t require reference material as I write, it goes much quicker.
Heritage Family Library
The Heritage Family Library sent me the Young Peoples’ Atlas in the mail recently. Standing on the Shoulder of Giants

There were issues with importing comments that I’ve finally worked out. The last element of known risk is permanent links. Out there in the blogosphere are links to… Continue reading Major Updates Coming
Big Potatoes, Little Lettuce
Arrrrgh! Today’s woot[!] is a tough one to pass up. Fortunately for me, it was sold out by 7:00am this morning – a time in which I was at the gym. If you don’t keep up with the daily items, you really should. It’s a great way to blow some cash that you probably don’t… Continue reading Big Potatoes, Little Lettuce
Free Chapel Presents The Story of Christmas
My wife, a good friend of ours, and I were hired to perform for Free Chapel’s production of The Christmas Story in Gainesville this past weekend. The show was probably astounding, though I’ve haven’t seen it yet. It works out that way for those of us that are actually in the play. Getting it together… Continue reading Free Chapel Presents The Story of Christmas
