This you just must see. I would actually like a really large poster version of this on my wall.

Conversational
Here’s an odd sort-of conversation I had with Sean this morning. I don’t suppose it’s that odd, but it does exemplify our relationship in an odd way. Olaf says: Why is it that www.microsoft.com/iis still goes to the product page for Windows 2000? They just announced the Windows 2000 end-of-life forthcoming. SeanW says: good question… Continue reading Conversational
Monday Night and I’m Still Dead
It’s been an entire weekend plus Memorial Day and I’m still dead-tired. I don’t know what the deal is, but it’s a bum deal. I’ve got to get out of this slump, and coffee isn’t doing it. Hopefully, getting back into my workout/racquetball routine will help.
Memorial Day
Happy Memorial Day! Later this morning (around 10:00am) we’ll be enjoying the Gainesville parade with the kids at the Quinlan Art Camp. It should be a good time. I don’t think that Balthazar has seen a parade yet. Enjoy your holiday if you get one!
Kingdom of Heaven
The Kingdom of Heaven was described as a place where Muslims and Christians lived side-by-side as friends and all were allowed to worship as they wish. This dream was never seen, though the closest ever realized was a time prior to the Crusades when the Jewish and Muslim worshiped together in Jerusalem. The movie in… Continue reading Kingdom of Heaven
Lazy Saturdays
Today I’m completely exhausted. The whole family slept until nearly 10:00am, which is unheard of for at least Balthazar and I. We all had a bit of a rough night due to Balthazar’s sleepless behavior. I think it’s related to the Augmentin he’s taking for the ear ache, but it could also be growing pains.… Continue reading Lazy Saturdays
Coming Home
My Internet access has been limited to my grandmother’s dial-up AOL account since I arrived in Pensacola Beach this past Saturday. I did make it out to a semi-local Taco Bell once for some high-speed wireless access. That was a good refresher, but my time was very limited. So limited, in fact, that I conducted… Continue reading Coming Home
Don’t Drink the Water
Well, we leave tomorrow and Balthazar finally broke through his shell yesterday evening. We ate dinner yesterday at Hemmingway’s, one of the better (and few open) restaurants on the Gulf. He did very well there with all of the family – though Stacey had already left – and even played with one of Orin and… Continue reading Don’t Drink the Water
Break Camp
Balthazar and I headed out this morning at about 6:30am for Pensacola Beach. Against all odds, we’re finally on our way to this “vacation.” As mentioned in a recent post, we’ve had a string of bad luck lately. Yes, I did finally get my car and things seemed as though they might be on the… Continue reading Break Camp
Lava Orange (Georgia Clay)
I finally got my new car after seemingly insurmountable odds against me. We’ve had a string of bad luck lately, but I hope that this and other recent events signify the end of all that. You may recall the details around the purchase of Amy’s car, the Honda Element. I swore I’d never go through… Continue reading Lava Orange (Georgia Clay)
