Today marks the beginning of Spring and it’s somewhat rainy and cool. Not a bad way to start spring, though we were given a week’s warmth and sunshine that makes this change a little sour. Yesterday was my son’s birthday party, and it happened to be overcast and cool. Could’ve been better, but you just never know in Georgia weather. Hopefully, things won’t cool down too much and kill all the new growth pushing up through the ground. I noticed Saturday some lillies that had broken through the leaf floor in my sun garden. It was interesting because they had pierced some of the leaves as though they shot out of the ground like arrows. All the energy required to do that and I still feel the need to remove these would-be constrictors.
