Today is my Birthday, a fact that is impressed upon me yearly. I’m now 29, though I’ve been saying I was 30 throughout my 28th year. I found that it was easier to just say 30 rather than calculate the finite difference from 30 that my lifespan had actually reached. Rounding. Age is one of those things people don’t often round, at least to upward integer values. It’s a vanity thing I assume, though I just don’t have that particular aspect in my character. I’m not ashamed of my age, nor explicitly proud. It’s just the way things are. Today is also the Birthday of George Frideric Handel, the famous classical music composer. He is 247 years in death with 321 years passing since his birth in Germany.
As I did last year, I’ll be giving Birthday cheer to those I can find on the Internet sharing this special day.
Happy birthday!
And congratulations on having been born on what is undoubtedly the finest day in the year.

Happy birthday to you, fellow Februarian, Piscean, and member of the Order of 23! I think you’ll find your 30’s to be the best decade yet. Thanks for the comment on my blog.
